About

Me and 1 day old minature pony baby
I live and breathe horses daily and I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t horse crazy. Through all the years of my life my passion for horses has run deep and strong. My horses have colored my life with many adventures. They have given me laughter, fun times, wonderful travel opportunities, funny stories, comfort during hard times, scary moments and occasionally some pain. They have taught me a lot about my own human nature, about unconditional kindness, about the best ways to work with them and about my own limitations. The horses that have made their way into my life have all been special and unique and I am eternally grateful to all of them for teaching me so much.
When I’m not riding and playing with horses, I build websites for horse people, small businesses and talented individuals. Because I’m my own boss my time is flexible so when I’m between web jobs I write, ride and enjoy my family. If you’re ever in need of a website, be sure to check out my site at www.equineonlinedesign.com! My goal is to make the process of putting together a website as easy as possible for you while delivering a unique, highly search-engine-optimized and affordable site that reflects you and your business. You tell me what you want in your website and I’ll make it happen!

Me and Hershey on a Poker Ride
My main riding horse is a big, black, 9 y.o. mustang cross gelding. I’ve had Hershey since he was 9 months old and although he is still a challenge for me from time to time, I love him dearly. We have accomplished a lot together over the years – from years of dressage lessons, jumping, and showing to trail riding and horse camping. His heart is big, his condition is excellent and he still provides me with many opportunities of learning and testing my horse abilities.
In the past I’ve owned, ridden and trained many horses – my own and other peoples. I’ve helped, worked with and observed many different horse trainers in many different disciplines. I’ve seen them do great things with horses and I’ve seen some bad things done. I’ve done things the right way and I’ve done things the wrong way too but I have learned volumes about horses on my journey – through experience, research, working with others and reading, reading, reading.
I hope you find seeds of inspiration in dealing with your own horses when reading my writings. Many happy trails and horsetails!
